Hoonigan Racing Division’s Ken Block can’t stop and won’t stop. While he “broke the internet” on Monday with the release of his latest Gymkhana video, Gymkhana SEVEN: Wild in the Streets; Los Angeles, today he’s pleased to announce the opening of a collaborative art gallery exhibit/book release this evening with artist, friend and fellow Utah resident, Jim Mangan, in New York City.

Titled BLAST, the work builds upon the epic, almost otherworldly landscape photography that helped Mangan break out in the world of photography, but does so with the incorporation of both Block and his Ford Fiesta HFHV rally car.

This was a great, fun side project that we fit in earlier this season,” said Block. “I’ve been friends with Jim for years and have admired his photo work so when he approached me about collaborating on a photo project in Southern Utah earlier this year I jumped at the chance. There are so many epic landscapes in Utah and to be able to go and tear through them in my rally car and walk away with incredible photography and video documenting it? How could I not!”

This evening, BLAST will be having an opening reception/book signing at gallery 205-A (205, Avenue A, New York, NY) from 6:30 PM until 9 PM with both Block and Mangan on-site. To pre-order your copy of BLAST, visit dashwoodbooks.com
