Heading into the last day of the final round of the 2014 GRC season in Las Vegas today, Hoonigan Racing Division’s Ken Block is currently sitting 2nd overall in the championship, only 11 points behind 1st.

Block has had a banner season, winning more heats than any other driver in the series, as well as being the fastest qualifier (on average). In addition to these stats, Block has also won one race (Charlotte), as well as racking up multiple podium finishes in New York, Charlotte, Daytona, Los Angeles 1 and Los Angeles 2. He’s also dabbled in WorldRX this season, making the podium during his debut in Norway (3rd overall), as well as setting the fastest lap of the event during the France round and finishing 4th overall.

Block led the GRC Championship into the 2nd-to-last round of Seattle, but lost the lead due to a small but costly mistake in the final. However, he’s charging in the final in Las Vegas already and feeling confident with only one goal on his mind: winning the race and bringing home the championship. Yesterday, he was fastest in practice, qualified 2nd, and won his heat.
